Welcome

Immanuel is a at the heart of our local community here in Feniscowles and Pleasington. We believe that God has called us to reflect the grace, beauty, love and peace of God to one another and to our neighbours here in Feniscowles, Pleasington, and Cherry Tree.

God has blessed us with a and historic church building and with a heritage of and worship. We want to all that God has given us, with those who want to more of God’s grace and blessing in their lives.

David, our Vicar, considers himself to have been appointed to the whole parish and not just to those who go to church. He would like to hear from you if you want to arrange a baptism, , or if you would just like him to drop in for a cuppa.

Immanuel Church is your parish church. It is primarily a place of worship but it is also a place where you can go when you need a bit of peace and quiet or simply to marvel at the skills of the craftsmen of yesteryear.

Once again Immanuel was full to capacity for our Remembrance Sunday Service which ended with the two minutes silence around the cenotaph and the laying of wreathes and crosses.

Click on the sub tabs coming from the main history tab when your cursor is hovered over it to access biographies of some of the soldiers remembered on our Cenotaph.

Each biography was written and researched by Sandy Woods, our Scout Master; each year on Remembrance Sunday Sandy tells the story of one of the soldiers on the Cenotaph.

This year we learned about Lance Corporal John Sanderson, read John's story by hovering your cursor over the main History Tab, along with many more biographies of those we honour on Remembrance Sunday thanks to Sandy Woods
